Aliza Beckett is an experienced media strategist with over 10 years experience working within the sector. In her current role as Business Development Manager at Channel 4 she is responsible for driving Channel 4’s commercial activities across the business, with a focus on opportunities in VoD, online, IPTV, mobile and other emerging platforms. Her position informs the strategic development of Channel 4’s activities and drives the delivery of new partnerships and business initiatives across Channel 4’s brands and audiences.
Prior to Channel 4, she worked across the media sector consulting for a broad range of media and telecom organisations including: Sony Music, ITN, Ingenious Media, BSkyB, the BBC, Telecom Italia, Fox Television and the GSM Association. She has also worked with the media strategy consultancies Spectrum Value Partners and OC&C Strategy Consultants.
Aliza began her career in corporate finance at Morgan Stanley focusing on media clients. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and holds BA History (Honours) and BA Political Science degrees with high distinction. |
